Great video! my first trip was in 86 but it brings back some memories even though ive been a bunch of times since then! I also love the Harry Connick jr music since I am fom New Orleans!

the pumps of water are not going as much as the did in the 80's, But you can see how much things have change since this video. I was just the in November and it is still a wonderful place to have a vacation. Lots to do there.

Also the first year me and my older sister got to go was in March 1992 when I was about 3. What a memorable trip that was. This was shot 6 years before I was born. Very cool!

lol Mickey balloon with a deflated ear at 3:43. I love seeing vintage home movies of Disney World. My grandparents and my mom and younger sisters and brother went in 1977 and they have a film reel and I can't wait to get it converted to dvd! Thanks for uploading this! :D I've been there several times, most recently last January.

although I've been going there every year since I was born in '83, my parents didn't start bringing a video camera on the trip til around '87... so nothing we have looks this vintage. great stuff!

This is superb - it's so difficult to find anyone with footage of EPCOT Center (as it was called then) from the first 5 years or so. I went there for the first time in 1988, and I've always wanted to see film from the first few years. I'd love to know the exact date of this film, because there are some pictures of just outside the Journey Into Imagination pavilion (with the jumping fountains) - and the ride inside didn't open until a few months into 1983.

What is it called now - we haven't been in a while... I'm out of touch...
This was shot in the summer of 1983 - at least after May 25, since we saw Return of the Jedi on the same trip...
