Is there THAT much leeway for 2 trains to drive back to back....doin over at least 55 mph or? I'm sure some rabbit or deer is scared as ever to cross these tracks. They would rather just wait for next spring, rather than cross THESE tracks just for some friggin grass.

This is a pretty cool video. Were they both on the same track?

Thanks. No, they weren't.

I was out there August 2; amazing how localised those storms are. Seems like you drive from dry conditions, into the storm for a few minutes, and then back out into dry territory.

Oh, you were. I know what you mean. It was flash flooding around Daggett, while bone dry in Newberry Springs. It rained there as well though. Amazing how little the ground absorbs water and how much excess is just sitting, even after a small storm.
