  • Very impressive! What kind of skin is it?

  • The skin is 8 oz. ballistic nylon sealed with a two-part polyurethane.

  • might be what i need for airplanes

  • tell me please what density ballistic nylon from which you make a skin kayak?

  • we get the picture tex

  • ripstop parachute stuff? polyurethane and catalyst? looks very easy to patch just wet down a patch and let her dry?

  • interresting, I would never do such thing to my carbon fiber one but sometimes we have no choice right, how heavy is this thing?

  • GAH! I cringe at boat abuse!

That is rather impressive though, and I'm strongly considering adding a skin boat to the family :)

  • sei una testa di cazzo non si maltratta cosi' un kayak.. potevi darlo a me piuttosto

  • You obviously didn't want the kayak anymore. I'd have parted with a few quid for it!

  • True - animal hide (walrus, etc) is authentic. But skins tend to soften with water exposure over time; they tighten up when dry, but if your goal is to paddle for a long period of time, stick to the synthetics.
