This is a continuation of the ground breaking video "Purposeless gives birth to atheism"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQr208S5Pcw

I am not answering Jack's vid, I am continuing the final thoughts.

My impression is that of a loyal god worshiper, not Jack.

  • Pride of Intellect? Loads better than being proud of stupidity.

  • @CaraDiane92 There has never, at any point in history, been a time when slavery did not mean the degradation of people. Even in cultures where slaves were somewhat protected by the common law (mostly preventing them from being murdered or permanently crippled) they were treated as property, were denied education, were beaten and disrespected on a regular basis. This is the type of slavery that the Bible supports, in both the Old and New Testaments. And I'm pretty sure hell is worse than beatings

  • @CaraDiane92 ...Did you even read the Bible? Stop pulling shit out your ass and check out Leviticus 25:44-46 or Exodus 21:1-6 why don't you? Don't give me that 'as an image' bullshit. It clearly says HEBREW SLAVE.

  • @CaraDiane92 Of course you can say that 'there is no God'. The same way religious people can say that 'there is a God'. If he believes that there is no God, then that's his choice and you have nothing to do with it. Also, saying that 'there is no God' is more logical than saying that 'there is a God' without any evidence to back your claim up, but that's just my opinion.

  • "The story of Ezra... The story of... a bunch of other motherfuckers." Preach!

  • That's like asking why you should speak differently to a child than to an adult. It's your responsibility as the one who knows more to speak a language they understand, it's not their fault for being a child. If they don't understand, it's your fault for not explaining properly. If we humans can manage that, why can't god?

  • @CropDuster33 no evidence either way, science cannot prove anything, it can only disprove things, belief cannot have proof, otherwise it is not belief.

    Cheers.

  • @CaraDiane92 Yes, but the impossibility of disproof does not ensure or even imply the equal possibility of existence or non-existence. The concept of God which many people embrace has been proven time and time again to be logically irreconcilable. Search "how to disprove God in less than 3 minutes".
