  • Go Sesame Street!

  • My family was turned off of the show after the episode that had a skit. It said, Susan has 5 cookies, She is very happy. Imbobua has no cookies, he is very sad. Susan give imbobua 3 of your cookies. Look how happy you made Imbobua. Hell Why give him three? give him so much that we have less than half of what we earned. Hey Imbobua, Go make some of your own damn cookies and stop moochin off of ours. Just another way to make kids want to spread the wealth i guess, HA!

  • I must admit that I like Elmo because he has kept the show fresh today. And it is especially wonderful for me to know that Big Bird is still as loved as he was at the start. To me, Elmo is the heart of Sesame Street, but Big Bird is the soul. And that goes in terms of their character/personality.

  • It's interesting how Big Bird's role in the series has changed over time. Essentially he went from being the child audience's surrogate to the "older brother" figure for newer surrogates (like Elmo) when the audience started getting younger.

  • He is so 75, to be 76 this December 26.

  • LMAO at the beginning:

    "Hi Oscar!"

"Oh no it's the little red fur ball!"

  • Happy B day Sesame street i was little and i love elmo and Big bird and they thaught me alot of cool words so thank you

  • Happy Birthday Sesame Street!!! This was my favorite show when I was a kid. When it started in 1969 I was 3 years old and loved it all the way through elementary school. Hope there are many more years of shows to entertain and educate kids. I learned so much from this show.

I heard the original theme song today and got the biggest smile on my face. I felt like a young child again. I couldn't help myself.

  • 5 Stars and Happy Birthday for Forthy Unbelievabl
