@sunnymars11 The "rulers of the darkness of this age" for St. Paul would have been the Romans and all those who persecuted the Christians in that era.....including, originally, St. Paul himself. But go ahead and read anything you like into these writings, without regard to who wrote them or in what context and era they were written. What gets me is how so many "Christians" focus on this stuff instead of on Christ's actual teachings.

Having read Revelation, my personal opinion is that St. John got hold of a bad plate of mushrooms.....most scholars think that he was describing the end of Rome, the "whore of Babylon" of his generation, not some distant apocalypse.
