Warren Beauchamp does 63 MPH in the Cuda-W at the 2008 World Human Powered Speed Challenge in Battle Mountain, Nevada. Thanks to Richard Myers, Garrie Hill, and Earl Cassorla for video segments. See http://www.recumbents.com for more information.
This is so stupid imo why in the hell they just don't build a bike thats gonna be on the road at all times. Its a waste telling us you can build something that goes 60 miles an hour under certain conditions and need air so you don't blow your lungs. Then you can't even sell it, because the design is so limited and ridiculous. Work on somethings thats gonna be on the road 99% of the time, not a crack jack box that falls apart just looking at it ;O)
I like the idea but the concept has been in the toilet for years. Whos finally gonna be the pioneer when you don't need scotch or duct tape anymore.
