I wrote to my (British) Member of Parliament this year and asked him to inform Her Majesty's Government that any government that allows CIA rendition planes to use British airspace does not deserve my vote.

It's sickening. Our invertebrate Senate misses yet another opportunity to take a stand.
As far as Mukasey, he couldn't reveal waterboarding was torture when one consider the ramifications of such a position relative to the murderous and traitorous thugs we presently have in the Administration.

Its shamefull that certain Senators running for President didn't think their present responsibilities were important enough to reschedule their time set aside for campaigning-or was that a convenient excuse to not weigh in on this vote as a matter of political savy to avoid any controvery from potential voters?
None of them have my vote anyway and their actions re-enforce my opinion of their inability to be a capable President.
