Our world-famous Peking Duck is served 2-courses to one of our lovely guests, Floyd Smith, the newest member of the 5th Dimension. The first course involves making a "Peking Duck" sandwich with 2 slices of a delicious white steamed bun, slivers of cucumber, scallion, a dollop of hoisin (seafood) sauce, and, of course, expertly sliced Peking Duck with the right proportion of the crispy skin and meat. Next, the remaining duck meat is then chopped and sauteed with other ingredients including water chestnuts to make into the freshest and most flavorful lettuce wraps.
For the Chinese New Year, this dish is festively called "Great News from the Delighted Duck". Jasmine has Peking Duck every day of the week with specials Sunday through Thursday. Enjoy! 喜鴨報佳音; 北京片皮鴨
