  • I agree with the premise of this video. I think the paper chase kills the essense of humanity within us. The harder and longer you work, and the more shit you accumulate (possessions) the more inhuman you become. I'm training now to walk marathons. Then I'll train myself for death marches, walking for days and even weeks at a time, and then I will fuckin disappear. Fuck you society!

  • I really want to leave the U.S.

  • Thanks for the video. There are so many opportunities to go abroad. I did an exchange program to Mexico when I was 16, studied hotel management and worked in Greece, The Caymans, The Canadian Rockies. I was an Au-pair in Spain for a summer. Last year I did a travel project where I worked 3 weeks a month and the last week I went away. I posted them all on my page. Travel to be is a lifestyle and as I get older, I have become comfortable with that. I don't have to conform to 9-5pm. Hello no! lol

  • @msungs

Germany??? I lived there, I hated it, the Germans?? Friendly. Not quite. I prefer Australia. America has issues, but when you compare it most countries its still a rich country and its people are generally better off than 90 percent of the planet.

  • @2ndviolin

thankfully we live in the 21st century, and vaccines exist :PI'll be overseas soon.... its a great lifestyle... I dunno even in other western countries. A lot of American expats don't look to come back to the US after they found a place with so many benefits.

  • The wanderlust (a German word we use in English) is a good description of the lust to wander and explore. We all have it inside of us. I know traveling changed my perspective from that of a narrow-minded cop to a more in touch with the Earth and life type of guy. Possessions and being stagnant in one area chasing paper (cash) is not the life for me.

  • I am moving to Germany soon to live with my wife (she is German) and I am from the U.S. I have lived in Spain, and been to Germany, the Netherlands, England, Iceland, Portugal, and Switzerland and have learned so much about how life is better in Europe overall, and how the people are better educated, less stuck up, and more friendly in general.
