Me and a bunch of foamer friends got together at Lovekin, Ontario on a hot Summer day for some railfanning action in the Municipality of Clarington, Ontario. This is a really great spot to go to if your into horn action and bridge shots. This place consists of two subdivisions about 25 feet apart from each other. The Canadian Pacific Belleville Subdivision and the Canadian National Kingston Subdivision. The Canadian Pacific Belleville Subdivision contains nothing but CP freight, and the Kingston sub contains CN & VIA Rail Canada.
26. CP 232 - CP 8533 (GE AC4400CW) & CP 5773 (GMD SD40-2) lead an eastbound mixed freight train from Toronto to Montreal with a horn salute from the engineer.
27. The Coubourg Turn - CP 4652 & CP 4657 (ex Boston & Maine EMD GP40-2) bring back 2 Difco side dump Ballast cars through Lovekin enroute to Oshawa.
28. VIA 648/ VIA ? - VIA 904 (GE P42DC) leads 4 VIA LRC passenger cars & VIA 916 leads 3 VIA LRC passenger cars through the bridge at Lovekin.
29. VIA 65 - VIA 914 (GE P42DC) leads 4 VIA LRC passenger cars from Montreal to Toronto with an awesome horn, horn salute & crew.
Thanks for watching!
Enjoy! :D
