what is the difference between BB Pre amp and rack mount guitar pre amp???

@nuaurea the BB is mostly an overdrive front end stomp box used to add to you existing tone......the rack mount preamp such as the triaxis used in this video is where the majority of the actual tone comes from....it's providing the base of the distortion.

is this good to add sustain on my solos?...because my dsl lead channel is weak even at high volumes and gain almost maxed out...maybe is due to my shitty cabinet too...

it is perfect to add sustain to your solos....i even demonstrate how the BB can add sustain to a typical lead channel towards the end of the video.

thanks! the effects are coming from a lexicon mpx-1. It is running in stereo. I dont remember the exact settings but it is a preset I created that has quite a bit of reverb (plate verb i think) , a little delay (around 400ms) and a very slight pitch modulation to emulate very light chorusing.
