the ending seems cool but it kinda leaves you hanging like "What the hell happened to amanda" and "where is she going" but yeah

yeah Underworld will be the last quality Tomb Raider game we'll ever get. SInce EIDOS wants to reboot the entire franchise(again) to make Lara a female friendly james bond esque character. meaning they'll take away her english accent and probably give her blonde hair.

Didn't Edios get bought out by Square Enix or something? I doubt they'd drastically change her.

True, but still I think Edios shouldn't pretend that AOD never existed. They should say that Kurtis was still alive and Lara is still finding him. To me that would be an intresting game and would get five stars!!

im glad they deleted this ending. It is too sad and it gave Lara a litle bit "evil" image when she left Amanda there alone. It kinda feels like this was the last tomb raider game...

Because it isn't official ending. Imagine that : she could leave Lara for death in Helheim (by pulling out another Excalibur-like sword without giving her hand but she didn't) or attack her by her amulet (I forgot the name of it). But not! She came up with briliant idea of attacking her by pice of rock AFTER all of this. Alternative ending? Rather ridiculous ending!

I'm glad they took out the last part. Lara and Amanda were finally given the chance to become friends so it gives you hope, and offers some great character development with Amanda. This last scene totally destroys that whole development.

This isn't proven to be the ending, it is just randomly assumed so, it could easily have been part of the intro to the last level. she doesn't even have Excalibur and I don't see why that wouldn't be there as it can hardly take much programing to put it on her back.

@funnychick397 Well I don't care Amanda hit Lara with a rock. Cause Lara should've help Amanda. Like think about it. If Lara got almost killed by doppelganer, it'll be almost like the same that Lara leave Amanda helpless & immorble. If Lara could see the same thing, she should've been. Do you got it?

I feel the same too. Poor Amanda. Lara should help Amanda up. But that's kind of rude that Lara decided to leave Amanda immobile & helpless. Lara should help Amanda, not leave her behind.
