the audio could have been from the game and not from all the drum hits.

@insaneexiles The "learn to play real instruments" is so tired. Nobody tells you to learn to shoot a gun and go to war when you play MW2, or pick up a real hooker and deliver some coke while running over pedestrians when you play GTA. Games are for fun.

No seriously i think the reason the ion drummer guy wasn't doing so hot was just because he wasn't used to it...
I used the normal rb2 drumset and play expert just fine and dandy easily 95%+ everysong but when i went to this party the guy had the ion drumset and it's waaaaaaay bigger than the rb2 set so i kept hitting the edges or missing the crash lol, probably just wasn't used to the ion set yet.
not going to lie i laughed tho at the fogger i mean come on... That's just good fun

Whatever happened to playing video games to have fun opposed to being great at them?

Hey, is that Steve from Blues Clues?

You don't think Call of Duty is a huge boon for military recruiters? War-based FPS games have been been used to spark interest among youth for years. The military has produced games for civilian training and to make enlisting seem appealing.
I'm happy that you've used Rockband as a platform to move on to real drums, but can't you see that actually playing drums is more fulfilling than hitting drum pads in time with songs you aren't actually playing?

@hilltophorror By your own analogy, you'd have to demean Call of Duty players for their "sad inability" to fight in the real army while they play the video game equivalent. Hell, you can even leave the military idea aside and tell CoD/Halo players to go visit a shooting range for a similar experience that translates to real-world skills without putting themselves in harms way.
Rock Band, juts like other games, is simply a cheap, accessible, and fun virtual counterpart to the real thing.
