there is no certain reason why we use caucasian models...

in japan caucasian models are frequently used in all kind of situation.

they are so called manequins like. it may sounds racist, but it's true in japan.

I'm pretty sure this is a worldwide ad, not just Asian. The flavor of ice cream is Asian, but Haagen-Dazs is not, probably why Western people are used for this commercial. XP
