  • To padawan23: I try to just take a quick video, and be out of there. I don't believe in disturbing the family that lives there, that would be incredibly rude. If they happened to be outside, then I would not video either. I do it for fun, but as respectfully as I can.

  • The owners didn't see us, but there were repair men going in and out the their side gate. They looked at us a little weird.

  • I used to drive by that house all the time. Lots of cool movie locations in that area. The rest of the Poltergeist neighborhood was filmed in Agoura.

  • You look like Dean Cain!

  • It’s my favorite horror movie of all time to! : )

  • so under the tag for sale....is it???? and how much..??

  • @nubbydigit You can always ring the doorbell and ask permission to film their house. They might just let you in.

  • yeah there's no fun in that. It it totally different. I have been to the exterior of this house as well

  • this is very cool, if only there was a way we could see inside the house even though i fully understand it is very different from the set they constructed on stage.

  • I love that house, wished I could visit it someday..it was actually recently for sale for around $500k. I saw it on a house site. BUT you can stand in the street all you want. They don't own the street. Just don't walk on the property of the house is all. I would love to see the inside of the house. 4267 Roxbury St. in Simi Valley is where it is. Peace.

  • Did you have any trouble while visiting any of the sites from owners or neighbors or cops God forbid?

  • There was one guy who actually went to Lonzo to take a photo of the E.T. house and he actually went up the driveway so that he could shoot looking out onto the street to match a shot from the movie's Halloween sequence. I'm not sure I would have the balls to do that. :) If I had my way, I would take photos from all of these locations on the site to match the shots of the filmmakers. That would be cool!
