Stacey Henderson began suffering more epilepsy seizures after the birth of her son. She didn't dare drive or risk giving her son a bath by herself. After researching top medical centers qualified to perform the complicated brain surgery required to remedy seizures, Stacey chose UAB's Level IV epilepsy center. UAB has a 20-year history of performing epilepsy surgeries and is the fifth busiest medical center in the country in terms of epilepsy surgeries. The UAB neurology team worked with Stacey to pinpoint the area of the brain where her seizures were emanating and then safely removed it. Now Stacey is seizure free and has her life back.
