Just added a smart start complete system to my Pontiac Grand prix and though i should share it with you guys, In addition to another $ 140, to install bypass, the system works great and best investment for me and anyone living in Wisconsin

  • What kind of security features does it have? For instance, does it have any shock sensors?

  • @JordaneX27

It does tell you if your car alarm has being triggered (send a msg to your iphone but doesn't exactly tell you what the problem is), you can use it to lock your car, & trigger the panic feature. And i believe it is programmed with your car alarm system, that include internal or external shock sensors and other features your car has on factory setup. Basically whatever your car has right now as security is going to be the same thing you get with the system plus the smart start.

  • I will be adding a new video soon to see if the new update on the system work. this update made the remote start a 2 way system and alert you when alarm is trigger

  • i think its a great idea, but a rip off in price. I purchased the system for $500. then had to pay an additional $60. for the modem, and $30 to install it.

  • That was actually less than what i paid for. i paid about $140.

  • hey show a video is someone was to hit it wat does it do

  • I just paid $608 for it, just for SmartStart with 1-way keyfob. How come?

  • Now what if your phone is dead lol

  • I think, first you should have some shock sensors on your factory security. I think my car does have some shock sensors so whenever the alarm is trigger, you will have an alert message in your viper App just like a text message describing the alarm being trigger for some reason, I haven't try it yet but will post a video later if i do.
