In this tutorial, I'm going to go over the basics of the RPG-8 and explain how all the parameters on the device operate. In some other follow-up videos and on my blog I'll go through a few different and creative setups. So stay tuned for more Arpeggio fun.

  • Three minutes of this video lead to 4 hours of production...

    Thank you.

  • @NexeusPariah Awesome. Really glad to hear that. :-)

  • Great video, great tutorial!

  • @solettamusic Thanks. I appreciate you taking the time to watch.

  • Great video. Is their a way to route individual kong channels to the main mixer in record 1.5?

  • @BIGHARVEY2005 Seriously? Check my previous tutorials. I explain how to send all the kong drums separately to a 14:2 mixer. It's essentially the same process in record, but instead of a 14:2 mixer, you create 10 mix channels and send each pad to each mix channel. See my blog for more info. I've got tons of Kong tutorials there.
