  • I think people is scarier than animals. what a brutal thing.....

  • This so called offficer is treating humans like pests.... what kind of person is that, he is not even on the high moral stage of an animal, I guess we would call it rather the moral stage of a police officer.

  • I still think it was just ignorance on the part of the administration. Katehi would NEVER have condoned such actions if they had any idea of their true nature, or the effect thereof. She's not a fool, and she's not inherently malicious towards students... she just had no idea what was going on... and why should she? Her job entails answering to the regents, not to the students. THAT is what needs to change.

  • "i was an object" jfc....

  • @irajkhodadoost That is a great thing to say

  • Message to Ketahi: if you ordered the police to unleash the police thugs on peaceful protesters, for you to come clean before you and the university can move on, you must admit to it and ask for God's forgiveness. Truth sets us free more than anything else. I am also an immigrant like yourself who came to this land of opportunity and freedom half a century ago and cherish the freedoms of this country with a sense of respect and awe and will continue to fight for those freedoms.

  • You have taken an important step toward national conversation on very important issues (social justice, economic equity, the limits of democracy, and abuse of power by the police and administration). If you succeed in rolling back the tuition hike through cost reduction including lowering the fat pay check of the Chancellor and a guaranty for the right to protest peacefully and to educate the public on the issues, you have won. Otherwise, you will continue to be manipulated by the 1%.
