    *Sighs*

There is Gravity in Space. It's everywhere, because every object has a force of gravity. If there was nothing in Space, THEN there would be no gravity. As long as there is 1 object in space, there is gravity, no matter how small it is. Your argument made no sense and was stupid. Go home.

"Tides" are when the gravity of the moon is pulling the Earths atmosphere, creating a larger and more dense amount of air at the point closest and furthest from the moon.

In this case, of Iron man, we are presuming that the Gravity of Earth exists through the wormhole, hense even though ironman might be far away, the size and magnitude of the Earths gravitational field is enough to pull ironman back from so called "space".

You were asking for it so here it is.

If you really wanted to know; Gravity isnt like air, it isnt a thing that exists at some places but not others, gravity exists everywhere, between every single piece of matter. It appears to not exist in space due to all matter being very distance from the said object, as gravity is weaker the further away it is from the object then this force if very minimal in relation to the gravity of Earth on its suface, or even the moon from Earth.

Why check out the movie trailer when you can actually watch the whole movie on the internet without spending a dime? I asked personally this a few days ago and spent hours searching for a safe and simple site to stream movies online. My hard work paid off and I uncovered this place all of you should drop by and see... Here's the site.

I believe when he says "There's no gravity in space" he means that if there aren't any celestial bodies nearby, objects are in equilibrium and shouldn't move significantly in any direction.

So since there are no objects large enough on screen that would exert a sufficient gravitational pull on Iron Man, he shouldn't be able to float towards the wormhole Unless somehow the Earth exerts gravity on him through the wormhole, or (as I always thought) the force of the explosion accelerated him.

I think he meant that there would be no specific gravity to pull tony stark back to the hole
