Jake Walden ~ Tapestry- Live from Hotel Cafe Nov. 7, 2009 - with friends

Two weeks ago, unique special people from many parts of this place we find ourselves on taking trips around the sun all came together in Los Angeles. It was almost like a pilgrimage and I was invited. I sang my songs and they sang them back to me. I got to know the people this last year on the road had not allowed me to know, not like this.
Cheri, my special friend, a friend who's mere description would taint the truth of what she really is and diminish the respect and love I have for her, not only for helping me in my dreams, but for letting me see that I was doing the same for her. Cheri made this video and I will let it speak for itself. I watch it, and I can't believe it is me, and for a moment I let go of all the struggle and all the longing and heartbreak of life and I sit here, in wonder. Thank you every one of you that came. You know who you are, and so do I.
