Actor James Hong & Director/Producer Peter Hastings in Kung Fu Panda voiceover session at Nickelodeon with Megan Casey, Production Executive

Actors Reporter follows veteran actor James Hong (the voice of "Mr. Ping" in "Kung Fu Panda) to Nickelodeon Animation Studios in Burbank, California, for a pick-up voiceover session with director and executive producer Peter Hastings. Justin Brinsfield supervised the VO session, with Andrew Huebner, Kung Fu Panda Line Producer.

Visitors on the set included musician and singer Willie K, Debbie Kahaialii, Booking Agent, Wailuku, Hawaii, and Kristin Jackson, President of Jackson INK.
Also, footage of the inside of the Nickelodeon Animation Studio and a quick presentation as Megan Casey, Executive in Charge of Production at Nickelodeon Animation Studio, presents James Hong with a Mr. Ping award.

  • @immblueversion You talking about the bit in the credits of KFP2? :D Well, that might've not been school.

    Besides, TV shows based off movies tend to blur the lines that are the facts of the the fictional universe. :\ Lilo & Stitch is a huge example of that - one character had two separate names, one for the movies (Kumu) and one for the TV show (Moses). I hope this is not what Nick is doing with this.

  • Not to spoil anything, but the whole "Po not going to school" bit will probably have to be removed from the final draft of the episode it's said in.

  • did they have voice recording in nickelodeon animation studios? :)
