  • Hagar is one of the top 5 rock singers of all time-end of story!

  • The man is 63 years old and he still sounds as good as he did 30 plus years ago.

He also has one of the best if not the best attitude in Rock and Roll. A lot of lead singers and guitar players that I've met and or played with, only hear themselves IMHO. To clarify, a lot of musicians stress music instead of playing music. Sammy is the polar opposite. He knows what the word "Band" is all about.

    Love ya Sammy!

  • best with Montrose, i think

  • This is the Sammy Hagar I remember. In D-FW he'd play theatres that held about 2,500 people. It was close up, tight hard rock, Sammy and this 6' 5" guitar bad ass were a throwback to early 70s stripped-down in your face hard rock .. great memories from this video.

  • @ChuckieInMT Bill Church on BASS.......Gary Phil on guitar!!!!!!!!

  • @Vetwolf13 Plus Bill Church on guitar...The Electric Church!!! Plus, wasn't this just the other day? Ha!

  • @Hunkola Mwahaha ya coming from a guy who has videos of the Wilson sisters? Foghat never accomplished anything deemed important, while the first Montrose album is incredible rock music. So basically you are saying all of the spandex Dave copy bands are the influenced bands eh? Now we all know what you do on a Friday night. Suck a lemon. Haha Foghat, nice going. They are about as good as a 4 year old with gas. Nice try.

  • @Hunkola dude, you suck! VH with DLR or SH is still VH.. You are seriously a RETARD!

  • drifter 1976..vh's first alb was pop too..jamies cryin!! omg !! what do you consider that??? lets see ..pretty woman..lets see.. u might wanna put that one on again dude..and listen..

  • @driffter1976 --- You been drinking too much tequila-tainted Sammy sperm, bro......Montrose didnt change anything.....they made a brief splash in the 70's like Foghat but were quickly forgotten......Van Halen changed rock music forever from 1978 to 1984 and they were the greatest rock band America EVER produced......Van Hagar was just an average pop band with dumb love ballads......please quote me even ONE band that states Van Hagar as in influence ---- there are hundreds for Roth-era Halen

  • @Hunedog --- Yeah, I'm sure Sammy knows what "band" is all about.....is that why he was slagging on Chad Smith for devoting more time to Chili Peppers than recording a new Chickenfoot album, even though Sam said that CF is "just for fun"? Is that why Sammy keeps slagging on Van Halen even though he's been out of the band for 15 years and said he's glad he's out of it? Hagar sounds like a bitter douche and he just misses the money that OTHER musicians make for him. Wake up, you Hagar cunts.
