this is easily one of the most powerful and haunting eva amvs i've ever seen. it's right up there with one i saw about rei set to "fake plastic trees" by radiohead. just brilliant.

I doubt you know anything about "meaning" if you really think the majority of people(99% in your words) who make AMV put no effort into their videos.
This one is good, but to say its better then 99% of the others out there is bull.

Really Good song for this anime,
Considering this is one anime i watched as a teen that basically reached into my brain and made me rethink my entire life. It was such a good series that it not only entertains but it breaks you and down and rebuilds you, mentally.
I had to have been a vegetable for atleast a week after watching this.

99% of youtube's AMV's are absolute tosh. The problem is mainly that the video is just built as "costume" around the song, and thus loses it's meaning.
This one however, is one of the best ones I've seen. Instead of video being excuse for a song, both the song and the video support eachother here perfectly in good harmony.
