it's called a glide. and there's no way you actually saw it. unless you have x-ray eyes.

@CloseUpCardTricks If you look closely, when you insert the card back in, you can see the glide between your index and middle finger. It's just a result of too much space left there. You barely see the move, you have to be staring at your hand to notice and not paying attention to the trick.
