Written by Gene Pitney in 1961, this is my own arrangement played on a Hohner Student VM 48 bass accordion.
The accordion belonged to my late uncle and I've recently had it restored by a Dutch accordion master, this is its first outing on Youtube since the restoration. The original featured an influential guitar solo by James Burton but I was unable to emulate that on the accordion and instead improvised my own.

  • Love it terry, but what are those strange teddybear things behind you? xx

  • @emmaflora The teddy bears are polystyrene Christmas decorations but I use them as hat stands.
