Where in Australia is your 1568 located?
The 1568 and earlier 1468 were sold in Australia mainly to large acreage wheat growers.
The Australian built and designed International ACCO trucks used the same "DV-550" US built V8 engine in some later models.
I have heard of people sourcing engine parts for their 1468 & 1568 from International truck parts dealers.

What's so special about Black Stripe IH's?
RustyCarnahan 1 year ago
@RustyCarnahan, The BS IH's were sold as 76 models. The 1568 with a DV550 V8 motor had only 862 built and very few of those were Black Stripe models, making them very rare. I think most of the 1568 BS models were actually sold in Australia

@IH1256 Ok, so the Black Stripe was IH's version of Case's "Spirit of '76" edition, right?

@RustyCarnahan Well sort of, this was the last year for the 66 series tractors, I think IH did this to help boost sales.
