H48 heads Eastbound first to shift some cars and leave them on their sidings at Crombey. but before they can depart Westbound, a Track car flies by to clear the way for their departure. After getting clearance, H48 makes their way and gives a nice hello with the RS3L, and as they were passing me, the conductor threw me a bottle of water! LOL. Thanks guys.

  • Crews like that are just the best. Although you have to give props to any crew out there, its a sacrifice of their time. A lot of people dont remember that.

  • if trains suck why did u watch this video

  • i've gotten water thrown to me once. that's the one time a crew has thrown me anything. you think the local crews would recognixe me, as much as im at the tracks

  • Crews are nice!

  • awesome video. snow shots are the best

  • You said it. Today, a beautiful C40-9 passed with a mixed freight with the friendly crew. You will notice the "toot toot" they gave me in the video response I posted lol. There was alot of M.O.W stuff going on today. I even caught a crew in a rail-truck lol. I will post that as a response too.

  • haha i live in cincy ohio it was suprisinly warm but haha its nice to have friends like that

  • Oh. That sucks. I saw the crew earlier today and they gave me an engineers exclusive hat. (Engineers only receive this hat) by the way lol. I sat in the heat of a GE C40-9 cab. It was cold and rainy today where I live lol.

  • haha lucky i live by a rr crossin an theres always a CN or NS train waitin there in the summer ha. i wish i lived by a yard or siding so i could talk but the crossin is like way up on a hill an stuff so

  • Simply cuz they are always stuck at the Southbound signal at basically the same time every day since they are a local daily freight. I will tak to them about 30-45 minutes a day. They are always early upon arrival at the signal. They always sit there for at least 30 minutes while they wait for the late Amtrak Crescent #19 and Northern Transit Trains lol. I aso have the engineers phone number. Theyar nice. If its a hot day, they will invite me to step into the cabin for a little bit. :-D

  • wow so how'd you meet em an how do you keep in touch
