Letting an amature handle venomous snakes is irresponsible, and just plain stupid. The so called 'expert' should be ashamed of himself.

@RedBayDog Or a dog that may attack you?
-
The honey badger on the other hand, doesnt give a shit

No, that King Cobra is harmless because its attitude is so diminished and its human tolerance is like that of a kitty kat. You could probably wrap that thing around your neck and it wouldnt care what happens. The snakes glands are not removed. This snake is part of a venom lab, so it has they have to be intact...

@rex3453 I'd be inclined to agree the owner was so so chilled with the business end millmetres from his arm seems strange most hot keepers i know would be keen on having the business end get quite that close to them but not a single bead of sweet on him.

@TheKraitman Especially the first one (monocoled cobra the worlds dangerous cobra)
-
Heh. I'd think the King Cobra had it's poison sacs removed, but hey whatever.
-
Stupid ! This is like owning a gun that will try to shoot you....

@tekboi1 trueeee as fuck lol
1st.:Dont ever,EVER,let amaturs around hots!Second.Ok,so you have anti venom,what do you plan to do with it?there is a lot more things involved with a snake bite than administering antivenom,or maybe you live right next door to the ER.and just what kind of antivenom do you have?I would only trust Australian AVRU Tiger Snake AV,asian stuff can be iffy.and consider this,your respitory system is already shutting down and you will stop breathing in as little as 10 min.

The only reason the presenter was handling that large King at the end was because the snake let him do it. I feel that the owner's actions here are irresponsible. Nobody should be allowed to handle a King Cobra like that when they only have a day's snake handling experience, but, that is just my opinion.
