Hi Pee Wee can you tell your mgmt to let you play all the cymbals here on Youtube? I already bought 2 cymbals based on your playing. You hit the cymbals like the way they are supposed to be hit. That is the only way I can see if it is worth purchasing. In most music stores they don' t let you hit the cymbals to test the sound,so thank you.

@jjbb20 fast means its thinner. so, it will have a shorter decay

just bought this yesterday in a 18" model. sounds soooooo beautiful!!!!!! nice warm tones, short decay, and it still has cut. I LOVE THIS CYMBAL!

HHX is the only line of bright cymbals i will ever buy. This is defo replacing my PST5 crash when it cracks :D
-
I never understood the point of buying new Cymbals? Its either cracked, bent, or keyholed. There is nothing else that could go wrong.

I own this cymbal, seriously my favorite crash i've ever owned. Really dark tone. I recommend it to anyone looking for a darker toned cymbal.
-
It only depends on what you want.
-
@jjbb20 I have tested that difference before, and Fast crashes have a much better and easy build since they are thinner.
-
because it is a fast crash, does this mean it is a thinner therefore, less durable cymbal?
Is there any difference between the Xplosion fast crash and the regular Xplosion crash??

@jjbb20 When crash is labeled as "fast" it usually means it has a quicker decay.
