GKR Karate Region 18 - Steven's 2nd day as 6th Kyu Green Belt Doing Kata Saifa

The Day Before this video (19th April 2009) I Graded To 6th Kyu, Then i looked at others doing videos of their chosen Katas so i felt like giving this a try for myself, a big appoligy at the end as my friend ended the recorded before i bowed out of the Kata and i see i have many things to improve on for this kata for blue belt and still onwards so all feedback is much appreciated!

All Abuse and other foreign comments will not be tolerated! We are free to choose our own style thats best for us and you know that yourselves that is why you do whichever style you do and i have no reason to take that away from you and its good you have a suitable style for you, But Mine Is GKR Karate and like many other dedicated Students and Senseis it always will be.

It is my style in heart!

is that a pigeon toe after you do the hammer fist? and am i meant to do that?

Its a Sanchin Dachi (Hourglass Stance) which goes with the hammerfist strike, but yes i think its also called pigeon toe :)

hi thought the kata was done well apart from the groin guard move just after the block and back fist going into the kicks was non existant,moving from the sumo stance to the kick needs the hand to guard the groin while moving into the preperation for the kick with the high and low guard as well,but apart from that ,,it was braw
