HO Bachman GS-4 Daylight Smoke Effect

A video displaying the smoke effect of my Bachman HO SP #4446 Daylight. I finally bought more steam fluid after not having any since I first got my Daylight a few years ago, so I decided to make a video of it. I think the steam effect looks really cool, and I hope you enjoy the video. I also added generic steam engine sound effects that I found online.

in my opinion, great model, BAD SMOKE!

model smoke is just S*&^, makes your engines wheel slip, and, if not looked after, can melt the front on your engine, i know, i have seen it on many of bachmans smoking models

Wow, this is really nice...brings back a lot of memories, was working on a decent 4x8 layout with diesel rigs...I was really into the weathering effects and a little scratch-building, but ran out of steam (literally) and got tired of messing with it in the TX summer heat in the garage...

Thank you. I don't have a sound decoder, I used sound effects for the video. The smoke comes out in puffs that vary by how much fluid you put in and how fast you are running it. The best of luck with your new engine, I love mine and it is a beautiful engine in appearance and performance.

@LTWW2 i had an old 4-8-4 #3781, the smoke it it.. ugh... but it looks great, just hate the smoke in it.

NIce video. I just bought one, what sound decoder did you use. Also does it have syncronized chuffing smoke. Thank you
