@nannycynthia The point is to not introduce any bacteria or other degrading agents into the body that would increase decomposition or expose people to any disease or infection. What the video did not show was the initial washing and sterilizing of the body using antibacterial soaps/shampoos. At least that's how they do it in the USA.
