Wild Bill discusses the need for military discipline to include curricula on racial, ethnic, religious, etc., relations to prevent another Fort Hood incident like last week's when Muslim Major Hassan fired upon his peers being deployed to war in Afghanistan, killing 13 soldiers and injuring three dozen.

I can't speak for military, but in the corporate world, discrimination standards are set from the top. If the top brass take the issue seriously, the trouble makers are kept in check. If the top brass is sympathetic to discrimination, or just don't want to get involved, it quickly gets out of hand. And if you push the wrong person too much, they will snap.
