@5tar5z actually I resent that. I agree that he was a great scorer, and he's just been unlucky with injuries, he was always one of my favourite players. My comment is more aimed at the cliche that commentators use when referring to prodigies. Many do not improve out of sight. And what has me and my manlove got to do with anything anyway?

Owen would have been one of the best ever if he wasn't so injury prone. That England kit is so much better than the ones we get today - no chavy gold Umbro logos!
