This battle was between Team French and Team Chinese. Being that Morimoto is Japanese and Kobe is Italian, they were not on either of these teams. If memory serves me right, however, there was a Team Europe (Sakai and Kobe) versus Team Asia (Chen and Morimoto) battle somewhere.
