Binghamton University Athlete of the Week: Iva Partaleva (9/13/11)

Junior outside hitter Iva Partaleva helped the Binghamton volleyball team climb back to .500 with her performance at the Rutgers Invitational over the weekend. Partaleva was named the tournament MVP after recording 4.00 kills per set, including a 22 kill, six ace outing against Howard. Partaleva tallied 61 kills during the week, ten more than the 51 she recorded all of last season. Her 22-kill match versus Howard was the first time a Bearcat eclipsed 20 kills this season.
