Baseball - Ridiculous flip over the catcher

Clearly you haven't (at least not in the ncaa, as you claim.) since the rules posted at ncaa.org pertaining to ncaa baseball state that a slide is only required on force plays. Also that a runner cannot attempt to dislodge the ball from the catcher and that he is not allowed to make contact above the waist in an attempt to do so I dont see how any of those rules were violated.

That is false, I just read the rule in the ncaa baseball rule book on ncaa.org and nowhere does it say you cany dive over the catcher as long as you are attempting to reach the plate and don't make contact with the catcher above the waist, only on force plays does it require a slide on the grounds of safety and interference
