Yeah what you fail to mention about YouTube is where the F*#$ are these kids parents?
There is software to limit kids use of the internet.
The censoring and regulating is the tool of tyrants.
YouTube censors and has a flagging system as it deems necessary in it's commercial interest...this is a free market solution.
If you are that upset then petition youtube to add additional ratings/parental controls.
DO NOT LET THE GOVERNEMENT REGULATE!

The things like 2 girls and the mutilation videos are not shown on YT. They are "reaction videos" to content that already exists, you can't find those videos on YT. You have to search the internet for the videos you've mentioned.
People commit suicide for all sorts of reasons and it's a slippery slope when you start imposing double standards on the freedom of speech.
People have to be held individually responsible for their own behavior. Let the states deal with it.
