Who says a multitool cannot be agile and quick? We will put the SOG PowerAssist model B66 up against any assisted opening knife out there. This unique SOG multitool has two assisted opening blades, one serrated and one plain edge, that deploy like bolts of lightning when the thumbstuds are activated. The blades lock individually into position for safety. On the other side of the B66 you will find the handle packed full of useful tools to get you out of situations, planned of unplanned: V-cutter tool, two flat head screwdrivers, philips screwdrivers, can opener, three sided file. You will find the pliers quite handy because they use a compound leverage system that multiplies your squeezing force. A nylon sheath is included.

  • ones a can opener ones a bottler opener.

  • @purzheen Synthetic materials are also good if you oppose the killing of animals. I see no need to kill an animal for a tool when a much more desirable (in my opinion) material, synthetic, can be used. Everyone's different. That's why different materials for these things exist.

  • You know, I have to say that I really appreciate how you don't need 15 minutes to cover the information. You get straight to the point with little exposition and you cover everything I wanted to know.

  • @futurewrestleler About $70.00 on Amazon.com

The price might differ depending on where you buy it.

  • How much for this bro????

  • @ZuluComander Leather can last forever, and I think it's got a lot better feel than the nylon. I've got four SOG multitools, three with leather sheaths, and one with the nylon. One of my leather sheaths has seen HEAVY use, and I've had it for more than five years. I've worn the leather in the rain and in the desert. I think synthetic stuff is just hype; it's cheaper for the manufacturer, that's it.

  • What about the legality of these things? So many states have laws against any sort of assisted blade. I got a distinct feeling that while these might be ignored for now, the laws on the books and wording of those laws would allow for a crack down on these and other assist opened blades at any time.

  • I have it with the brown leather and it's fantastic. The leather is nice and high quality and is a bit softer then the hard nasty ones that come the the leather man super tool 300

  • yea but on the fabric one the seams rip after a few years.

  • I can't believe it I grew up 5 miles away from the SOG factory. Pretty Sweet!!!
