The brand new iPhone web application lets you access your DEVONthink Pro Office database from anywhere in your local network or — by the use of port forwarding — from the Internet. Have a look how easy it is to share a database and browse it directly from the palm of your hand.
Informative. Poor sound quality.

Yes, but if I have to connect over the Internet to access my home VPN... how slow is *that* going to be?

iPhones have VPN support. Set up a VPN from your iPhone to your home network, and you can access your Mac & your documents anywhere.
That's why it's useful.

I agree with @BeruPly. I would much rather be able to access my DTP databases while OFF-line. It would be MUCH more useful to me that way. Hopefully that is in the pipeline, because I just don't see me using this at all.

I love DT and I think iPhone integration would be cool, however, from what you show here, it looks as if one only can read data/take notes while connected to one´s local network and mac switched on. That rises the question why one would want to do so and not just use the mac. A client residing on the iPhone and usable while not at home would seem more useful, but maybe I just did not understand this presentation correctly...
