Taken, unknown. You can tell its old!

UP 4464, an ex-SP Tunnel Motor, leads its Intermodel train with power including 2 unpatched SP units on into Tunnel 10 in the rain. Some of my family members decided to join us on our trip to Tehachapi, so thats who you see and hear in the backround.

  • Different terminology - something like the Tehachapi Loop in Australia (we have two in New South Wales) would be called a spiral. A "loop" is what you'd call a "passing siding".

  • I can set the date on this between 1997-2001. I say that cause 1: The SD40T-2 number is currently occupied by an SD70M and the SD60M is 6155 and it has sense been renumbered into the 2400 series

  • the elusive all-EMD lashup!!! that's about as rare as a BNSF train having second-generation power! or not seeing a GEVO for an entire month.....

  • yeah i was just gonna say. i miss the sound a lot.

  • oh, i've been there with all kinds of equiment in that siding. gondola, mow, tankcars, box cars, nothing, flat cars.

  • Don't think so.
