Isn't it cool and telling how all of the people who have met Elvis say nothing but kind, glowing things about him...yet all of the jealous ignorant fucks who never knew a damn thing about Elvis have nothing but wretched pseudo-condemnation.

@Easthattrick not true, Keith Richards has gone into detail about how the rolling stones were influenced by black musicians, the rest of america wasn't taking much notice of those black musicians till the british bands were entering the states, explaining where their musical influences were coming from, also eric clapton and many others have talked fondly of their music being influenced by a whole host of black musicians.

@dbrinkm1 Sorry, but the Brits are extremely lacking in giving credit where it's due. Maybe someday they'll realize that cultural exchange is a two way street, but for now, they can be quite myopic when it comes to admitting being influenced by us big bad Yanks. :-(

@br71488 Why? because he has aged? it's because he's gotten older dude. Jerry Lee Lewis, Fat's Domino, Ben E King, Eric Clapton. Jimmy Page, Elton John, Brian May, Ian Gillan and so many other people look just the way he does because now it's about 40 years after the peak of their careers and they still are looking good. Don't judge Robert, he looks great. Maybe you'll become an old man someday and someone will say that about you?
