What about freedom of speech? It's the same old story, accept something from the government and they "own you." Maybe churches should pay taxes and become free to say what they want -- but then the government would be free to "tax churches out of existence."

That's a blindly idiotic statement..Right wing nuts are definitely a problem, but Christians founded this country. Christianity isn't the problem.

The founding fathers built it on the truth of the word of God. Everything about the laws of this land were taken from the scriptures from old testament. They were right from the Old Testament books of law. And so you cant move away from that foundation without destroying the nation. And so this whole debate and argument over what's truth and what's not truth, the only truth that founded this nation, we left a country of tyranny for religious freedom to worship.

Actually he didn't clarify a thing. Why don't you people actually read the Constitution, and while you're at it read the "Federalist Papers." Religion was kept out of the Constitution intentionally. This idea that "all" our laws are based on the Old Testament is nonsense. Read more, talk less.
