As the damage from Typhoon Haiyan continues to unfold, local Filipinos are looking for ways to help. Fortunately, they already have a system for sending care packages back home.

Some Chicago Filipinos send Balikbayan boxes filled with food, clothes and other goods to their relatives living in the Philippines. WBEZ's Odette Yousef and Lee Jian Chung visits one such expatriate preparing his Balikbayan boxes in Chicago's West Ridge neighborhood.
