  • I've never had an issue with my bike being hard to kick. Seems like it has plenty of power, so I don't think the compression is bad or anything. But yeah I've never had to kick very hard to fire it up.

  • Bars I built myself, and the swingarm I made as well so I could fit the Harley style spoked wheel.

    I'm thinking you can't fit anything bigger than a 140mm tire using the stock XS650 swingarm.

  • 18" diameter, as far as width, not really sure exactly, just know it fits my 240mm tire :)

  • @96supercharged what year is your bike? 75 and later DIDNT have a compression release so they are harder

  • Any chance you would share some info on how you managed you fork swap. I am attempting to put 99 R1 forks on a 77 xs650 and have had some issues. Any help would be great!
