Al Sharpton had a chance to bring people together by defending Rush Limbaugh, instead he and the Player's Union chose discriminate. Discrimination is a 2-way street.
Do you really think that these guys want to pay higher taxes ? Why do so many athletes want to go to Texas and Florida ? There's no state tax ! They can't come right out and say that they would rather have conservatives in power because it would be very unpopular with others within their own community to do so. There are a few of them that are brave enough to face the backlash from the African American community. Remember what happened to Bill Cosby ? Remember uncle tom and so on...
If you want the truth I'll give it to you. Rush Limbaugh is being denied the opportunity to become a part owner due to the fact that he is a high profile CONSERVATIVE. I'll tell you something else that old racebaiter Al won't tell you. Many of these wealthy African American athletes are more aligned with Rush Limbaugh than Al Sharpton. They know that Conservative Principles and Capitalism is what has allowed for their success.
My point is that if Al Sharpton is so concerned with the NFL why isn't the REVEREND doing anything about those criminals mentioned above. Why no outrage at their ACTIONS. About the second chance thing. Nobody deserves a second chance in my opinion. Playing in the NFL is not a right. Nobody is entitled to play in the league. Would you get a second chance with your employer ? No you wouldn't, so let's not make arguments based in falsehoods and hypotheticals.
I'm not debating the fact that they paid their price for making a mistake. What I'm saying is that A. Rush Limbaugh is not being given the opportunity to become a minority owner of an NFL Franchise because a bunch of people that never listened to him were told he's a racist and got all weeweed up ;) about it to prevent him from doing so. B. Al Sharptons argument is that it is bad for the NFL because of Rush's comments.
Rush Limbaugh's chickens have come home to roost!!! The reality is that nfl players don't want him, owners don't want him and the commissioner doesn't want him.
I'm STILL happy that fat racist bastard isn't an owner of a team.

Picture this: A Slave owner, that owns an Plantation who is racist.
A Racist person who critizies blacks that wants to own an NFL franchise: Do you think you want this kind of behavior being in your front office?
That's scary.. and what does Mike Vick has to do with this? Haha and Rev Sharpton is not racist.

Rush Limbaugh has spoken out against Race Huslters like Al Sharpton. Imagine that, using Al Sharpton as a spokesperson. How low can you get.
