Long Way Home - Supertramp (Piano Only)

In 1979 Supertramp came out with Breakfast in America. This fast became one of my favorite albums.


Played on a Yamaha DGX-505

At that time three of my favorite bands had just been dealt severe trouble.
Chicago's Terry Kath had been killed in an accidental suicide.
The Who's Keith Moon died of an 'accidental' overdose.
Pink Floyd had release 'The Wall' and although I liked it, it was severely depressing. The band soon after would split up.

Breakfast in America was a breath of fresh air (no pun intended in regard to my other posting) the songs for the most part were happy and upbeat.

I learned this one by ear, as I do most of them.

My apologies for the extremely sloppy quality of the piano playing here, but I was just in a rush to put it out there in hopes that someone else who counter with a better version.

Great job! Thank you for sharing. Question for you.... I have the same Roland keyboard. I've had it for 4 or 5 years now. Have you had any problems with yours? I have had some with mine. I had to replace the key pads on mine, and I am having trouble the strings & piano at the same time. It makes this weird noise, and kind of cuts out on me.

@FIRSTACEGAMER Roger Hodgson probably plays it better than me, but he keeps messing it up by constantly singing over it, so you can't hear the piano part.
