Yet ObamaCare puts caps on insurance premiums, while taking caps off of the benefits that are to be paid out. Tell me how insurance companies won't go bankrupt without being able to raise their prices. The problem hasn't been deregulation, but over-regulation by government, such as the reg which prohibits buying insurance across state lines and thereby creates tyrannical monopolies. Like how positive externalities and inelastic goods do not work well with an unregulated market. Also, the principle of efficiency of scale, given that that is what allows Universal healthcare systems to utterly outperform privatised systems in every case they've been used.

Government regulations? More utter lies. The de facto establishment of monopolies, a natural outcome of an unregulated market, is the main factor in increasing healthcare costs. To a private amrket insurance company, you cease being a valued customer the moment you need its services.
